Hand Picked takes a passionate and innovative approach to wine.

Working closely with our wine partner Bibendum our CEO Julia Hands, a self confessed wine fanatic, has gathered together some of the world’s most exciting and sought after wines.

There are deep, brooding reds fit for a winter's supper, gossamer-light whites for summer lunches on the terrace and a wealth of vinous gems in between with which to kick back and relax.

Iconic, ground breaking wine-makers like Petaluma from Coonawarra in Australia and Nicolas Catena from the Andes of Argentina rub shoulders with the most dynamic from traditional areas, like Bruno Paillard’s impeccable Champagne and Michel Laroche’s exemplary Chablis.

Julia is committed to a programme of buying young wines from the finest properties and leaving them to quietly mature until they are ready to drink. Look out for a selection of glorious Brunello di Montalcino from the highly rated 1997 vintage and sumptuous Bordeaux reds from stellar 2000.

We’ve made our wine lists as accessible as we can, listing the wines by style and giving pointers to help you choose the right wine for the right occasion. We hope that in this way you will be encouraged to branch out and try something different or unfamiliar. Whichever wine you choose, however, we are confident that you will enjoy it.
