The grounds and gardens of Chilston Park are as breathtaking as the house itself. As you travel up the long tree-lined driveway up to the house, surrounded by not only trees but also cow-filled fields, you feel as though you should not be in a car, but in a horse and carriage. A scene from a period drama greets you.

The tyres of your car crunch with the fantastic crisp sound that only gravel driveways can make, and you stop in front of the awesome house on the circular drive with its central fountain. Breathtaking.

Once you’ve settled in you can enjoy a walk around the beautifully tended gardens or a relaxing stroll round the lake, the sound of the water calming to hear. If sport is more your thing, have a game of tennis, croquet or even petanque to add a bit of French charm.
