The approach to Norton House is stunning in itself. A mile long, rhododendron lined drive
leads you up to the house ensuring you warm up before you even arrive.
Suffice to say, the gardens of Norton House are not your average Edinburgh garden. Move
over Alan Titchmarsh. Our most unique feature is an area designated a site of cultural
interest by the Scottish Council. Here you’ll find giant Amiobi redwood trees from Japan as
well as Sequoia and Red Cedars over 150 years old. Not your average Scottish garden to
say the least.
As well as our original non-indigenous garden, we are of course surrounded by the most
Scottish, greenest of greenery with terraced lawns, amazing woodland and fields rolling into the
distance. Enjoy the views.
