Imagine your perfect weekend away. When it comes to the diversity of the food and drink on offer here, we’ve definitely got your perfect weekend covered.

Choose from either the main restaurant for a special meal or if you fancy something simpler, our lounge menu in the Morning Room or the Drawing Room, will keep your stomach from rumbling.

If you fancy eating out, ask for one of our freshly made and packed picnic hampers to enjoy either in the grounds of the hotel or to take with you when exploring all Cheshire has to offer.

Our signature afternoon teas are not to be missed with mouth-watering cakes and scones baked to perfection on the premises.

For the more private among you, you can either enjoy your meals in the privacy of your bedroom, or make use of one of our stunning private dining rooms for your exclusive use.

We are more than happy to welcome children both into our hotel and all our restaurants and hope they enjoy the variety of dining as much as their parents. We are happy to provide half portions of any of the existing menus or alternatively adapt our menus to suit the children where possible. High chairs are available.

For evening meals and Sunday lunch, book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Although we do not specify a dress code, most guests tend to gravitate towards smart casual wear. We aim to cultivate a laid back and friendly atmosphere where a romantic dinner is as equally at home as a reunion for old school friends.
 

The Rookery Hall team are also proud of the fact that they aim to source as much of their produce and supplies from Cheshire and the North West with the belief that not only is Cheshire a great place to have a relaxing break but also a county that provides only the best quality for its visitors.

The Drawing Room and Morning Room

Lighter snacks and meals are served in either of our lounges.  The Drawing Room with its rich heritage colours and sumptuous furnishings provides a more traditional vibe whereas the Morning Room provides a breezier and bright feel with its linen curtains and light furnishings, a real sun trap first thing in the morning.

Here we also offer our unmissable trademark afternoon teas, either with or without champagne; Some may say extravagant, but we say well worth treating yourself.

Afternoon tea is served between 3pm and 5pm everyday. Our cakes, pastries and scones are baked fresh in our kitchen to give you a melt in the mouth experience.

Feel free to people watch and relax all afternoon, long after the cakes are gone.

Al Fresco Dining

We pride ourselves on our light Terrace menu with its choice of light bites. It’s not only the food that’s a bit different. How about trying a chilled red wine or a rosé champagne whilst relaxing to the hypnotic zen-like sound of the fountain in the background and taking in either the formal garden view up close or the horses further afield in the distance.

If picnics are more your thing, we will happily provide you with an array of goodies from the simple to the special, sparkling water to champagne. We aim to provide you with a hamper to beat all hampers.

The Bar

The bar provides an intimate atmosphere with its leather-upholstered chairs, oak panelling, huge windows and personal table service to maximise your relaxation. Our drinks menu offers a huge spectrum of choice from exclusive Richard Hennessy cognacs to your more everyday tipples.

Spa Brasserie

The Spa Brasserie is stylish and contemporary, serving a selection of pastas, grills, sandwiches and salads. The bar is fully licensed and serves a selection of wines, beers and spirits in a contemporary setting, overlooking the Spa pool.

Children are welcome to dine here and there is a separate menu for our younger guests.

Booking is not necessary, open to hotel guests, Health Club & Spa users and their guests.

Opening Times 10am until 10pm Monday-Saturday  (please note the last orders are taken for food at 9pm) and 10am until 6pm on Sundays   (please note the last orders are taken for food at 5pm).
