Fishing
Wood Hall has 1.5 miles of fishing rights on the
stretch of the river Wharfe that runs around our estate. There are native trout, a few grayling as
well as pike, barbell and Chubb. Guests may fish in the river providing they have a fishing licence
(obtained from any Post Office) and a Wood Hall permit (obtained from Reception).
Shooting
Game shooting and Clay pigeon shooting can be arranged through Reception subject to
availability and numbers.
Badger Watching
Join our dedicated Gamekeeper and watch the badgers in their natural habitat within the
grounds of Wood Hall. This is ideally done early evening and must be booked in advance.
Walks
Wood Hall is situated in over 100 acres of land and has many nice paths/routes to walk. Routes
are available from reception.
